Oven functions and thermostat control

knob

The oven function and thermostat control

knob allows to set the oven on the required

cooking function and temperatures.

Set the temperature on the oven func-

tion control knob between 50

C and

maximum to activate conventional

cooking.

To choose an oven function, turn the function

control clockwise to the symbol the desired

function.

To select the temperature turn the oven func-

tion knob clockwise until the pointer indicat-

ing the desires temperature between 50ºC

and maximum. The temperature will be kept

constant by the thermostat.

Function Description

The oven is off

Oven light

It’s lighted once the oven function knob is turned on and lights during

the oven functioning

C-maximum

Thermostat position (temperature selection), by choosing the temper-

ature between 50

C and maximum the conventional cooking is acti-

vated

Bottom heating

The heat comes from the bottom of the oven only

Upper heating

The heat comes from the top of the oven only

Inner grill

It can be used for grilling small quantities

If you want more heat coming from the

bottom or more heat coming from the

top, turn the oven function knob so as to

place the pointer on the symbol

(bot-

tom heat) or

(upper heat).

Under these circumstances the temper-

ature will never exceed about 215

Warning! When cooking with the oven

or grilling, leave the lid open in order to

avoid overheating.

Oven thermostat control light

The thermostat control light will come on

when the thermostat control knob is turned.

The light will remain on until the correct tem-

perature is reached. It will then cycle on and

off to show the temperature is being main-

tained.

The safety thermostat

This oven is provided with a safety thermo-

stat. In case of malfunctioning of the main

thermostat, and consequential over heating,

the safety device will stop the power supply

to the appliance. If this happens, call your lo-

cal Service Force Centre. Under no circum-

stances should you attempt to repair the ap-

pliance yourself.
