
You can use this function for cookware
larger than 260 mm.
First set the heat setting for one of the
cooking zones.
To activate the function: touch . To
set or change the heat setting touch one
of the control sensors.
To deactivate the function: touch
.
The cooking zones operate
independently.
4.6 Automatic Heat Up
Activate this function to get a desired
heat setting in a shorter time. When it is
on, the zone operates on the highest
setting in the beginning and then
continues to cook at the desired heating
setting.
To activate the function the
cooking zone must be cold.
To activate the function for a cooking
zone: touch
( comes on).
Immediately touch a desired heat setting.
After 3 seconds comes on.
To deactivate the function: change the
heat setting.
4.7 PowerBoost
This function makes more power
available to the induction cooking zones.
The function can be activated for the
induction cooking zone only for a limited
period of time. After this time the
induction cooking zone automatically
sets back to the highest heat setting.
Refer to “Technical
information” chapter.
To activate the function for a cooking
zone: touch . comes on.
To deactivate the function: change the
heat setting.
4.8 PowerSlide function
This function activates all cooking zones
and automatically activates for all of
them the Bridge function. The function
sets the same heat setting as the one
you set the last time.
For the first activation the heat setting of
the left pair of zones is set to , the
middle pair is set to and the right pair
is set to
.
To activate the function: touch . The
indicator comes on. All cooking zones
operate for 9 minutes. If the cooking
zones stay empty, the symbol comes
on. After 9 minutes an acoustic signal
sounds and the empty cooking zones are
set to .
To resume this function: touch
to
put or move cookware on the deactivated
pair of cooking zones.
To deactivate this function:
• Touch to deactivate the function for
the cooking zones you chose and
keep the last heat setting of the
cooking zones for this pair. The
indicator goes off.
• Set the heat setting to or let the
Count Down Timer deactivate the
cooking zones. The indicator goes off.
When the function is
deactivated, the pot
detection time is 2 minutes.
4.9 Timer
Count Down Timer
You can use this function to set how long
the cooking zone should operate for a
single cooking session.
First set the cooking zone then set the
function.The selection of the Timer
function is possible for cooking zones
that are active and after the heat setting
is set.
To set the cooking zone: touch
again and again until the indicator of a
necessary cooking zone comes on.
When this function is active,
comes
on.
